Laser welding is a highly efficient and precise welding method using a high energy density laser beam as a heat source.
The welding process is heat transfer type, i.e. the laser radiation heats the surface of the workpiece and the surface heat spreads to the inside through heat conduction.
By controlling the width, wobble, peak power, repetition frequency, pulse frequency and focal point of the laser pulse, the workpiece is melted and create a molten pool , resulting in a weld.
